Next, we’ll attend the 2:00 Saturday matinee performance of “The Lion in Winter” by James Goldman.
Sibling rivalry, adultery and dungeons – “The Lion in Winter” is a modern-day classic centered on two of England’s most formidable and most human rulers, King Henry II and Queen Eleanor and their three crown-hungry sons. Locked in a free-for-all of competing ambitions to inherit a kingdom, this tour-de-force critically acclaimed play is epic, brilliantly funny and deeply moving.
Tickets are $22.00 and will be purchased all at once to make sure we’re seated together.
Deadline to reserve tickets is Monday, September 12!! (click below)
After the play – 5:00 – we’ll walk up the street to the Postmark Grille for dinner. This excellent eatery is a long-time favorite for squadron members. We’ll order off the menu and pay individually.
We’ll want to know you’re coming to make accurate reservations.
But wait! There’s more! The evening will continue with dessert aboard the Steady Eddy, docked nearby at the St. Croix Marina.
