The St. Paul Squadron offers free vessel safety checks as a part of its service to the community. Boat owners who pass the inspection are provided with a decal to display. (The decal is simply an indication to law enforcement officials that all safety requirements were met at the time of inspection.) Owners whose vessels need additional maintenance or safety equipment to comply with these standards are provided with safety information and invited back for another free inspection.

To sign up for a time: Check in advance with the marina office; or look for the America’s Boating Club tent near the clubhouse at 8:30 Saturday morning.
Mini-Seminar: Resources on the River
You are invited to join members of the St. Paul Squadron in the Clubhouse for a presentation and discussion of resources that are available to enhance local boaters’ experience on the St. Croix and Mississippi Rivers. Topics will include MN-DNR updates and reminders, river navigation websites (e.g., up-to-date water height, bridge clearances, barge traffic, weather), electric shock drowning and safety equipment updates. There will be time for participants’ questions and comments. Registration is not required.
All Vessel Safety Checks are complimentary.
